I am putting together a listing of youtube links so that I can add them to the boxingbiographies site and would be grateful if people could add to this. I have added a few to the site but some help with the links would be welcome. Clearly the idea is to include the vid alongside any newspaper etc article relating to it.
This feature will make a great addition to the site, which i must say has continued to grow in popularity.Any suggestions are more than welcome regards additions or changes to what is being done is welcome

thanks, that will be a good help to me and getting those scans also. very tedious though it is doing these things but worth it. i checked out the ringworks and very interesting it was mate

Patterson's first fight with Quarry was up there not too long ago, but it got taken down, along with a bunch of other fights.

Seems like JMC's account was suspended and all of his videos were removed (including Quarry-Patterson). It's a shame because he must've uploaded almost 1000 fights! Some of them may have violated copyrights (recent fights usually get removed) and youtube decided to take them all down.

Thank you very much this is very good indeed.At present i have only placed a handful on the site so to do a download of them is no big deal.I will continue putting the listing together anyway as that in itself will be of use and interest to people.

Feel Free to use my fight list as any sort of reference. I learned my lesson the first time and am going to put 50 or so clips up on a channel then retire it. I was up to 2,500 clips on the jmc617 channel and that Tommy Morrison fight post screwed us all .

Not sure if it was my channel that you saw the Quarry - Patterson bout but I posted them a while back and because of me posting a newer fight that a website may have been using to collect active revenue on a pay per view basis they complained to youtube and youtube gave me good old strike three. The other 2 original strikes where from when I first started the channel and I instructed people how to download clips and for something else that had nothing to do with boxing.

When you see fights go down it is usually because the channel creator is guilty of posting a fight that is making active revenue or violates some other non-posting rule that gets it taken down. I have heard the networks don't put out these fights on DVD because piracy so if that is true I doubt they care that anyone posts them as long as they are not making an active revenue. My source may be wrong though.
