Come on Mark, you've got to improve your grammar if you're going to mention peoples spelling.

I love you all x

I think there's a good mix on here with the BBN chaps, some former and active fighters, young and older fans and a couple of oddballs!
I love it.

Hmm, I can't remember us having significant interactions... but then maybe that's because the memory often filters out the bad things. Presumably you're referring to my "overrated boxers" articles, which were not the most popular things I've ever written? Anyway, no offence taken. The good thing about BoxRec forums is that, in the main, people can disagree with each other maturely without resorting to the ridiculous bitching that is common in most other places. If you don't like what Isay, I have no problem with that, so long as you respect my right to say it! :TU:

Hopefully you don't mind me saying the following, even if it fits into what you described above.

Spud and his former antagonists have all been behaving themselves for some time now. Spud's contributions in this style are worthy and welcome and I think it reflects well on everybody concerned that we have apparently managed to turn the page on all this. :TU:

As for favourite/worst, I'll nominate two from other Boxrec boards.

Favourite: Verballistic always has something interesting and insightful to say and remains respectful at all times.

Worst: Pringle. By all means he seems a decent enough guy, but if I see he's started a thread I usually don't bother clicking on it because it will more often than not be some unamusing (to me) attempt at humour, rather than a decent boxing thread.

I agree that Verbal is often interesting, and I get on with him, but he's not always respectful. He has a problem when someone's opinion doesn't match his own and he will fight them until he believes he has won. I'd like him to take a chill pill every once in a while. His passion for the sport is excellent, though.

And I definitely agree on Pringle. He seems like a decent enough guy but must get really bored.

Verballistic is perhaps one of the top posters on this site with his knowledge but he can revert to throwing out insults quite easily and that spoils a lot of his opinions, also the number of smilies and bold lettering he uses can get too much as well

Terence wrote:Does Verballistic post on boxing? All I have ever seen from him are heavily highlighted right-wing rants, usually about how liberals and Muslims are destroying the world. Are there two Verballistics?
He posts loads in the current scene.

I've not seen the Other Sport etc. version of him for a while.

A good nominee for the worst poster would also have to be a fairly inactive poster by the name of RazorKO who dislikes everything un-American despite the fact he is South African himself.

RazorKO is fantastic, I definitely look out for his posts, always brighten up my day.

I'm undecided as to whether I want him to post more, would it be too much of a good thing?

Yes, I've seen Verballistic "fight" too. What I meant by respectful was not that he didn't have the capacity for an argument/debate, but that compared to a lot of people, he does it with respect and backs up his opinions with solid reasoning.

Khaosai or is it Khazi :D Galaxy makes me laugh.

Givin a shout to Bennie though....regular contributors will not need to ask why :TU:

I have had the occasional ruck but no name's spring instantly to mind. I once had a quarrel with tony evs I think, I couldn't fckin tell you what it was over but I will have been correct that is indisputable

....ad just like to give everyone a thanks for not mentioning me as the pound for pound best poster on Boxrec, as you know I private messaged a lot of you and asked you to NOT automatically give your vote to me as I like to remain quite humble, am pleased to say you have all done as asked :TU:

Galaxy uses Boxrec to warm up his superior intellect and wit amongst us mere mortals and simpletons.

Kind of like a poker player might warm up on a low level table to build his stack before moving onto the high stakes game.

KG is probably interacting with Stephen Fry about the finer points of comedy on Twitter as we speak or doing a gig at Jongleurs :TU:

Mr Galaxy is alive and well, last seen a week ago propping up a bar in a Bangkok red light district. He required my help in aforementioned propping, and needless to say I did have a rape alarm in my back pocket.
