I thought that Mitchell wasn't going to fight Cook because he's trained by his dad and they're good mates.

Might be a safety net for Warren as Martinez has every chance of beating Cook, Mitchell would then get the chance to fight Martinez.

Just finished watching 3 fights of Martinez, jeez he is a tough git, he likes a fight this lad.

He can be outboxed but just keeps coming and warms into a fight after 3 rounds or so, I can see Cookie winning the first 3 or 4 but then gradually getting broken down and possibly stopped after 9 or 10.

I tell you honestly I am not sure, I think it would be a great fight and would not be unlike Mitchell/Johanneson for the way it would go back and forth at different points of the fight.

I think I would edge for Martinez but the extra power of Mitchell as opposed to Cook would make this a very very close fight to call, someone would be getting stopped though as both men have average defence but both have decent power.

Don't get me wrong about Martinez he is no Cotto just because he is from Puerto Rico but the kid has great heart and throws with mean intentions, he is a slow starter or was in the fights I saw and he will look cumbersome early doors I think but he warms into a fight well and just not sure Nicky is strong enough to keep him off.

Will be genuinely delighted if I am wrong as I really like Cook as a boxer and he seems a nice guy.

I think mitchell has learned from the johanneson fight, and dont think he will make the same mistakes. I cant comment on martinez as Ive not seen him before. so what if cook wins, mitchell will have to go another route I suppose.

Reckon he may get suckered into a battle against Martinez as thats the way the kid fights he kinda creeps up on you and the next minute its toe to toe type action.

Presume if Cookie wins that Mitchell may have to go another route as you say, cannot see them fighting although it is a business after all so perhaps they may

The WBO Route seems to be the easiest for British fighters to get high Rankings
Starting to lose a bit of Respect for the title to be honest ,
Although Most ranking systems are baffling now

What happened to haveing to win a European title to get yourself in Top rankings in the world.

Actually, that is stupid, he would make it an Intercontinental contest.

Foster for me, based on his performance against Arthur. And he would be able to fight for 12 rounds I think unlike Johanneson, who although fantastic effort in the fight, ultimately was exhausted when he was stopped.
So Foster.
