Jermain Taylor's rating at Supermiddleweight

First things first: I think Jermain Taylor is an extraordinary fighter.

Nevertheless, I don't really understand his rating in boxrec's table of the supermiddleweight division.
Lucian Bute is first. That's okay with me, he's the undefeated IBF-champion (though it was a narrow escape against Librado Andrade last October).

Next in line would be in my humble opinin Denmark's Viking warrior Mikkel Kessler (current WBA champion) with 1 loss (in 41 bouts) against Joe Calzaghe (12 round UD, no knockdowns).

Instead I find Jermain Taylor being boxrec's number 2. Why Jermain Taylor? He's not had one SMW title fight so far, has 2 losses (1 knockout and 1 UD, both against Kelly Pavlik as we all know). That doesn't make sense if you ask me.

Who can explain? Don't get me wrong, I'm not taking away anything from Jermain Taylor.
