I just wanted to say that I hope Mick does the UK proud tonight.
His attitude and focus throughout the build-up has been top notch and If he can't pull off a Honeyghan, I hope he goes out all guns blazing.
We will get to see tonight if the gulf in class between British / European level - and the top dogs at World class are really that wide.

Yep, and Rhino came along. My sister and I had to leave just before the final in order to get home. :x It didn't sound like we missed much though. The train journey home was probably more entertaining.
On the tube, we met a drunk Joe Calzaghe lookalike who was a huge fan of Kelly Pavlik and Jimmy Lange. He was a nice guy. Then when we were on the train 3 drunk guys sat with us. One of them was completely wasted and couldn't stay awake. His friends rummaged through his bag, took out one of his books, and proceeded to go around the carriage asking people to write stuff inside the cover (nice stuff and nasty stuff). Then they got a couple of girls to kiss him (while he was asleep) and took photos.
Then my sister and I decided to walk home from the closest stop the train could get us to home, and we walked for 2 hours. We got home at around 4am, I think.
Boxing nights often end up weird for me.

Blimey you and your sis must like the boxing, thanks for the ticket offer anyway. Pity you didn't get to see the full show for that much effort but like you say the last fight wasn;t the best one of the night luckily for you. I was gutted Bob Ajisafe limped out the tournament I'd heard good things about him from my pal who boxed for the British title but unfortunately he hardly threw a punch!
