The promoters agree the fighters fee - the fighter gets paid.

The promoter then trys to recoup as uch money as possible through merchandise, ticket sales, sponsorship and if the fighter is fighting outside of his normal country and its on another promoters show as in this case - if the promoter is switched on in negoitiations he will state he wants the UK TV rights for the show - do you honestly believe Mr W arren would have given up those TV rights?

Give me a heads up when the Jennings fight is going to start, mate. I'm hoping that Setanta only had the rights to broadcast the main event via their broadband service but I'm not too optimistic.
