Good fight this one, I thought Warren would have Mitchell in with a few journey men first as he's been out so long but this is a good test for him, a 50/50 fight imo.

i think he's fighting foster jnr
Yeah, for the WBO mandatory position. What's the point if he won't fight Cook?

Mitchell's had loads of fights now, I think he needs to be fighting for the European title or pushing on into world class. If he's not good enough yet, I don't think he ever will be.

so then if cook wins and mitchell wins, what happens? maybe they will be forced to fight. for warren to go down this route seems strange if mitchell isnt going to fight for the wbo belt. maybe it will come down to money or boxing politics, cant see warren trying to get mitchell a shot at another belt when the wbo fight can be easily made. what happens with the trainner situation aswell? calzaghe fought richie woodhall and they were mates, but this will be a bit different as mitchell would have to leave his camp and go find himself a new trainner

These fighters should be a bit more selfish and give us what we want. It is a sport after all.

I'd fight a mate for a big enough pay day

they are mates so it would be difficult, I suppose they will have to sit down and have a chat. there are many factors that could go wrong and there are plenty of belts to fight for.
