OH dear, just had a post deleted at doghouse, first time ever happened to me. I said that last night I was getting into debate and reading thoughts during and after the Cottos fight over here whereas doghouse generated one thread with one post and one reply.

Said that was a sad indication of doghouse at the moment and Glax deleted it the swine, then PM'd to scold me

Well anyway, quite enjoying it here, lively posting and thus far, not full of the type of morons who frequent boxing chat on doghouse as I presumed would be the case.

One curiosity for older members here - what boxers or boxing insiders are known to post on here? We had several back in the day on doghouse and as this seems the new internet home I am presuming you have our old ones (Bunce, Rawlings to name two) and possibly some other ones too.

Oh and are doghouse guys using same names?

Jamie Moore, Tony Dodson, Darren Sutherland, Martin Power, Tony Bellew to name a few of the fighters who post on here, a couple of refs are known to visit the forum and post from time to time(Richie Davies and Howard Foster I think)

i have always been a huge Toney fan but after the Ruiz fight felt very let down with all the drugs stuff. Toney is about old skool as you can get (ok maybe Bhop) and i just love the man's all round skills, bravado and drama.

Another dogpound refugee!

I started posting over there as TheDamned about a year or so ago after having an account for a while and not realising it! I didn't used to go in the UK section over there until quite recently because it's always so dead but staying in boxing chat for too long listening to how every fighter nowadays is a quitter or a bum gets very boring after a while.

The best thing about the pound is the little group of posters on the UK section, who have all emigrated over here by the looks of things, and of course the prediction league which was superbly run by Quixall and BIGMARK (at least until i was on for promotion and then they obviously got intimidated by my excellence and decided to stop it).

Anyway, my favourite fighter of all time is Sugar Ray Leonard, with my favourite British fighter being Naseem Hamed. Out of the current set of active fighters my favourite is Miguel Cotto.

Nice to meet you all!

The average was about 5 or 6 fights a week and it worked well, but i appreciate that some like a weekly laegue, but thanks for supporting the idea.....[/quote]
