Ok, so we have one thread for the most one sided losses, so i thought we should have one for the one sided wins by British boxers in world title fights.
i'll start with
Honeyghan v Gene Hatcher
Hope v Rocky Mattioli (in Italy)

The infamous Samuel Kedebe, was he the one who was boxing in rollerskates (i.e he couldn't stand up in the ring) or was that Alex Arthurs equivalent (Michael Kizza)Phenomenal-Nutrition wrote:Harrison v that Danish Kenyan, probably the same 1 who broke Seb Coes world record

These fights spring to mind
Bruno vs Coetzee
Hide vs Tucker, Reed & Fisher
Lewis vs Grant, Golota, Botha, Ruddock & Rahman
Enzo vs Bobby Gunn
Haye vs Williams, Glen Kelly
Calzaghe vs Manfredo, Pudwill, McIntyre, Lacy (and virtually everyone else)
Hamed vs Johnson, Lawel, Vazquez, Badillo, Cabrera, Molina, Johnson & Bungu
The Raggmuffin man vs Bumphus, Hatcher & Vaca
Harrison vs Kebede
Kebede and Lawel where the most outclassed, I reckon Pudwill probably took the worst beating, I seem to remember that before the 1st round was over that he’d been down twice and that his eye was swollen shut.

Re: Most one sided WINS for Brits in world title fights
you could put a couple of lennox fights in this catergory, lennox vs mccall II, lennox vs tua, lennox vs tyson, just too many to name as lennox did'nt hardly lose many rounds in his fighting career.
Re: Most one sided WINS for Brits in world title fights
no not unless the judge couldnt see the ring....as per the draw with holy.
remember that being trotted out as an excuse for the woman that scored the fight during the aftermath.
what a pudendum

Eubank against Juan Carlos Giminez. I don't think he took a punch.
Just basically remained in the right spot all the way through jabbing poor Giminez's head off, letting flurries go to keep him off as well.
Really dominating.

That was a typical Benn see-saw battle!mark thompson wrote:Nigel Benn vs Lou Gent
'English Rocky' Gent had him pinned against the ropes a few times if I remember in a right barn-burner.
