your thoughts on mathew hatton fighting ted bami on saturday

Post by jspain »

mathew hatton is fighting ted bami on saturday night. is part of hatton promotions bill , is not on tv.

how do you think the fight will go. both have lost a few times and both have knocked out the same amount of opponents. how do you think their styles will match up? although hatton had a decent win against tackie last time out has bami the better record. cant judge bami on his last prizefighter performance.

Why can't we judge Bami on his prizefighter performance?? Seriously, I missed this one on the schedules but it's a solid matchup. If Bami comes out trying to bomb Hatton I think he will lose but he always carries a bit of pop and has arguably fought in better class than Hatton, but Matthew did look impressive in his last outing against Tackie.

the prizefighter with the 3 rounds at a time is possibly not suited to every boxer. im just a fan but i think the format of prizefighter makes it different from a normal 12 round fight.

think this is a very big fight for hatton coming off the tackie win , if he loses where does he go from there.

Another fight personally I would have loved to have seen on TV and its another case of being annoyed that it is not.

As far as the fight is concerned - Matthew Hatton will break down Ted Bami in the later rounds as long as he keeps tucked up early on from Bami's occasional bombs.

If Bami is fit he should win...

oops. boxrec have it listed as this saturday. must have been changed. was kind of wondering why there was no build up about it.

hard to know if it will be on tv on march 28 either as setanta will be showing the hayemaker bill from liverpool. maybe it was changed because of the other 2 high profile domestic cards taking place this saturday.

looks like this will be an ibo eliminator according to britishboxing.net

Good even contest - I think Hatton will avoid Bami's big shots and box him to a decision.
