Oh Jackson was 22 KO's on the spin, impressive even if the level of competition wasn't, good old Bodysnatcher spanked him in a couple rounds after I think getting wobbled in the first.

According to Boxrec it was 28 KO's on the spin, he won his 1st fight on points then the next 28 by KO or TKO before being KO by McCallum

Ok, I am a real saddo, a real spotter as I was right, it is a bloke called LeMar Clark. He won his first on points then went on to win his next 42 by KO. He then lost two, won another by KO before losing his final fight in two rounds to Mr Cassius Clay.

Thank you ladies and gentlemen

Nope, he won his first on points, then five by KO, then outpointed William Page before going on to record 22 KO's

If you wish to contridict me, read the list correctly first lol :D

what about him?

The question has already been answered.

Oh and Terence Archie has the record for most KO's, 141 or so I believe although some believe it is higher but he had some unrecorded fights.

steady on you anorak, why bother posting questions that you look up on the archives??

i bet ur the geezer buncey throws the water over on the boxing hour

hmmmm let me check.

1. I did not post a question, someone else did and I answered it
2. I did not look it up, i replied three minutes after the thread started, so it clearly came from memory.
3. Anorak? Possible, I do love my boxing and have a fantastic memory for retaining information, which is why I am succesful in my business.
4. If Bunce or anyone else threw water over me they will get a damn good smack in the face.
5. Please refrain from such childish barbs just because you looked a fool with some random and incorrect name.

Mark I am not sure about current, i think it probably is Valero. Most career KO's is Archie Moore. According to boxrec it is 131, I thought it was 141 and wikipedia and other sites I just found has it at 145.

I am almost certain boxrec is wrong as I know I have read it in a lot of articles over the years as one hundred and forty something. I remember these things because I am an anorak as so kindly pointed out by the member trig although I do not go to archives then pretend I am knowledgeable as he suggested

Yeah, he broke the World record for the number of 1st round knockouts by fighting the absolute worst opposition they could get. :(

Utah heavyweight Lamar Clark holds the record (he may already have been mentioned in this thread) with something like 44 straight kayoes, before he was ultimately chucked in with Clay and sparked himself.

Herbie Hide also has 22 consecutive knockouts, and Hide is basically as British as John Mugabi, "The Beast" who reeled off 25 consecutive knockouts in the 1980s (when Tyson put together 19 straight, at best) and then ran into someone called Hagler.
Barry McGuigan and Naseem Hamed stand together at 18 consecutive knockouts, the same tally as a comebacking George Foreman (a peak Foreman once reeled off 24 straight kayoes).
Bruno once stopped 21 men on the spin.
