NY state championships April 3&4

it will be in Jamestown NY April 3 & 4 at the ice area i think I'm not sure .. I'm the masters fighter super heavy sub novice division I'm 41 and overweight 350+ and only have had 1 fight so far .. i won the Eastern newyork golden gloves 2009 . by just showing up i think it was call a walk over or a bye .. their was no one for me to fight . i dint like to win that way but i will be going to Jamestown for the state championships ....if you know of anyone in the masters 201 + including newyork city itself . I'm looking for a opponent for the finals .. it alway been a dream to fight in the golden gloves ... hope to see every one there .. big Jeff ..

Your best bet is to go to the Ringside tournament in Kansas City in August. They have a lot of masters division boxers who compete.

Big Jeff - you can go to www.usaboxingmetro.com and see if you can locate a Masters boxer in your age and weight class. You should be able to send an email to the Metro Assn. through that web site. You can also email Bruce Silverglade at Gleasons Gym - he may be able to help. Good luck!
