Im NRH. I have to confess i was on doghouse for about a year and a half as TheDamned and only ever started 2 threads because im the laziest bastard in the world DD
Been into boxing since Benn - Eubank when i was about 4. For some reason i wanted Benn to win and apparently i cried when he didn't.
Favourite fighters are SRL, Nas, Eubank, Hopkins. My favourite active fighters(dont really count B-Hop anymore) are Cotto and Khan and Haye. The latter 2 being mostly cos they're English and they're pretty entertaining too.
Just started to get into hitting the bag and sparring. Was always more of a football type im more built for that
Well fellas I am Tobyh5, member of doghouse for about 5 or 6 years. I am 34 and boxed amateur for 18 years and am currently doing a bit of kickboxing because there is no age restriction and I had to hand my ABA card back on my 34th birthday, baastards!!
I am a boxing nut, live and breath it and am pretty well read and studied on old time boxing, the history, and have a boring retention of facts and figures. Have always read every magazine, website, watched every film, documentary, fight I can over the years. I live in Cornwall which makes it tricky to attend professional bills but have managed to attend I think it is 27 WBO/WBC/WBA or IBF fights over the years.
I hope there are people here with some good knowledge for some nice grown up boxing based banter and am looking forward to contributing here, apologies in advance if I talk shit, bad habit and I am strongly opinionated but do not mean any harm.
Fav boxer of all time - Jack Dempsey (my son is called Harrison after Dempsey, who's real name is William HARRISON Dempsey)
Stevo, Rivaltribalrevelrebel on the doghouse, always had more of a problem with the too many users thing rather than the pop-ups but still the place had its problems I just respected the opinions of most of the fella’s who posted on there so kept coming back though not really posting all that much. I appreciate my own boxing knowledge is limited compared to some, seem at 22 I’m a bit of a youngster. Can’t help but feel that that may say something about the average boxing fan though I hope not.
Been properly into boxing since I was about 14 or so though vividly remember watching Benn Eubank 2 and wanting Eubank to win.
Favourite active fighters: JMM, Haye, P-Dub
Favourite fight seen live: Castillo Corrales
Hi everyone on BoxRec, I was registered as spidatrap but most know me as watson748 on Doghouse so I've just re-registered as watson748 to save confusion...confused? wait till you start reading some of my posts.
Anyway, I used to be a pro rally driver with Ford and McRae Motorsport about 15 years ago and now I sell traps that I invented for catching spiders, the SpidaTrap. These traps will actually catch all types of crawling bugs and are at the moment being used by the British Army in Iraq and Afghanistan to protect the soldiers from the dreaded Camel Spider and scorpions while they sleep.
My boxing interests go back as far as the 70's when I used to watch Ali on TV. In 1980 my dad took me to see Buchanan vs Daho and Watt vs Nash and since then I've seen Tyson twice, Benn vs Eubank 2 and Calzaghe to name a few.
Favourite fighters are probably Buchanan, Tyson and Calzaghe. Current favourite is probably Haye. I prefer all out action fighters rather than defensive masters although I do still appreciate their skill.
Terence wrote:Hello DHB guys, glad to have you all on board. Call me Terry as every time someone uses my full name they drop an extra 'r' into it, they must think I am a pirate. Failing that feel free to call me Shaggy, Love Doctor or Vlad the Ripper.
As you can see, my name is Eric Guy, I own the largest private fight tape library in Europe, Been involved in Boxing since I was a 10 yr old in Colvestone School (Hackney), we had M Watson, D Andries, and D Dyer as amateurs!!
Most people know me as the 'Videoman' at Boxing shows, as I film most shows in London areas and other places both Pro and Am, And started of with Barry Hearn, and Frank Maloney from when they 1st starting promoting, Filmed a lot of the London 'Pro' shows from 1987, Duff, Warren, Hearn, and Maloney, Film the Amateurs since about '91, mostly club shows, and championships, Filmed all ABA Finals since 97, so when I talk about boxing matches, they are normally about when I was there live, so forgive me when I post, and will talk about the event with good knowledge, as I seem to assume people know me!!!
My main assocation is with Frank Maloney, been with him when he 1st started promoting, and still with him after all these years!! had headaches, heartaches, but mainly fun times,...
And have held BBBof C Licenses Trainer, Second, Manager, MC, and Agent, so I am pretty knowledgable!!
Eric

I had about 80 fights as an Amateur and boxed for England as a Junior, i turned pro with Steve Wood but couldn't fight because of medical reasons.
My favourite boxer is PacMan, purely for his entertainment value. Favourite british fighters are Hatton & Moore.

Both pound and now here. TBH I'm pretty busy at the moment so posting on either site is going to be rare. Glax has eventually listened and taken away all ads from the uk section and made it easy to join now. Both you and Mark put in loads of work and argued passionately to achieve this and it would be a bit of a shame if you abandoned it completely. Whore about like HH1, champ and now me to fulfil your boxing needs.

its good to see you here Watson or i believe to your friends you're know as spidatrap
I have many aliases and only now use spidatrap if I'm wearing a cape and my y-fronts over my trousers.
Hello, normally I'm Upstepper in the pound, I registered as upstepper here about 3 years ago but blah blah blah now I'm stepper.
My first claim to fame is having the second longest running pinned thread in boxing message board history, naturally "allegedly" here at boxrec kicks my arse.
Second claim to fame is making the films for Frank Maloney's website during his transition from Sportsnetwork to Maloney Promotions. I occasionally drove for Frank, although he never produced the chauffers hat, and once made the Reebok in Bolton to central London in 2 and a half hours, Franks car naturally, I'd never hammer my car like that.
I'm still making films and have two projects on the go which I will scream about if they hit the proper telly, mutter about if they hit sky channel 768 and barely murmer about if they end up on youtube.
I like Boxrec for the really up to the minute inside news and gossip but I liked the pound for being ...... the pound.
Hello, im Stephen Smith. Joined the forum not long ago, great forum. Like to keep up to date with whats going on in the boxing world and find out people's input and opinions etc.
