Don't forget Sergio Martinez, WBC interim champion. He looks very talented.black panther wrote:Absolutely agree with all of that - good post. I hope Ryan beats Small - best of luck Ryan.
LM isn't the deepest division but the guys at the top are real class acts: Forrest, Santos, Williams and Dzinduruk. But Williams aside they are all getting on in age a bit so who knows what opportunites may arise in future.

Oh yeah for sure, if he ever gets a crack at Forrest he may be the one to dethrone him as its gotta end sometime for Forrest - time waits for no man as they say! I'm not sold on the two HBO prospects Angulo and Kirkland though. They're great to watch and can bang but I think a good boxer with some pop will despatch them.Asterix wrote:Don't forget Sergio Martinez, WBC interim champion. From a UK point of view, wouldn't it be great if we could get Jamie and the old git back in the mix ?
There are some big names and talent up there in the LM division, and wouldn't it be great to get one or more of them over here, and give our lads a shot ?
Alternatively, Jamie to get the Euro, and Rhodes to beat Small then meet up in an eliminator with the British and Euro on the line ?
Might be wishful thinking - but you never know.
