Could not see how Rogan was going to do this, as a fighter that depends on his strength and toughness should struggle against a seemingly stronger, tougher opponent, but fair play to him. Cracking fight, and I'm made up for the guy. :TU:

You'd have to think that, at the the very top level, they'd either be too big, or too good technically but, from what I've seen, I'd give him a shout against the current American crop. Can you imagine how much the Septics would love a tough, mauling, Irish heavy? There's surely money to be made there for the big fella.

Think it was just to save a few quid.

Rogan is the mandatory for the title now by default

What a great fight, a domestic equivalent of Bowe v Holy for intensity if not skill. Rogan just has so much desire it's untrue.

I wish I'd listened to my gut instinct, thought Rogan had a good shout, but then talked myself out of it, and bet on Skelton points.

dont think its fair to call skeltons career a joke . hes accomplished a fair bit in his short career despite his age . i know hes sometimes horrible to watch but hes effective . i do though think we will never see skelton in a ring after that .

What a warrior. Skelton is a terrible fighter and Rogan isn't much better. I thought Rogan would beat Skelton and at 9/2 (on sportingbet) I had to put £25 on him. Wish I went even more.

I owe Rogan a pint!

Well done Rogie - what a great fight - wasn't expecting much in the way of entertainment, but both put in a shift worth recognition. Given some of the ball-arcs we've had to put up with in the heavies (globally) recently, this was a godsend. Rogan v Haye - that'd be something. Rogan v Klitschko (V or W, doesn't matter which) would be worth watching too!

I say it because he's spent his career making ugly fights even uglier. Every fight he's in, excpet for this one and only cause he was getting a kicking, are boring. He just mauls and wrestles before pushing his opponent over.

I was happy when Williams beat him, happier when Chagaev beat him and now delighted that Rogan has more or less finished both Skeletor and Harrison's careers.

Full respect to Skeletor for doing so much with a complete lack of talent, but I'm still glad he's been beaten. Again.

just for the record Skelton can slug it out too

his career highlights are

stoppage of Holden

the first Danny williams fight (a torrid enthralling affair)

the stoppage of krence

the war with Mirovitz (had Big Bob come out for the 5th Matt might not have made it but bobs corner pulled him out !)

and now a real tear up with the prizefighter.

yes hes been in some stinkers but thats because the opps made it crap as well

infact with only 12 fights isnt that some kind of record....hes cracked the top rankings faster than Solis and Povetkin :TU:

I'd pick Rogan to beat Chaegev on last night's performance. What a fight - one of the best domestic heavyweight clashes I've seen for a while.
