Well done that man. Olympic boxing's greatest ever team was the American contingent at the Montreal Games in 1976. Ray Leonard, Leo Randolph, Howard Davis and Michael and Leon Spinks all won gold in front of packed houses in Montreal, while Charles Mooney won silver at bantamweight and John Tate bronze at heavy (being crushed by Stevenson).
The team's non-medallists were Louis Curtis, Davey Armstrong, Clinton Jackson and Charles 'Chuck' Walker.
Armstrong and Walker lost 3-2 decisions to the eventual gold medallists at their weight - Jackson by 3-2 to the eventual silver medallist.
Curtis was outpointed by a Pole in the first series.

Maybe but because of the boycott the Olympic competition was greatly reduced in 1984.

Interesting list to consider, Taylor and Manley of course lost to McGuigan and Marsh respectably in Pro World Title fights. Curry was of course an outstanding Champion. Shuler showed a lot of promise then ran into the Hitman, then sadly died in a road crash. Murphy became Cruiserweight Champ for a short while I believe and Broad was a disappointment as a Pro.

There is some quality there but not in the 76/84 class IMO.

Great knowledge. Looking at that list, only Charles "Machine Gun" Carter failed to break into world class as a pro.
