Khan undercard

Post by whicker »

just get the lastest on this- I think as it stands Enzo and Cook's fights are going ahead as planned, and Hall's fight too.

Any more news?

I've just realised I'll be away for that weekend. With no TV.

Here's a link to the card for reference: http://www.boxrec.com/show_display.php?show_id=569577

why only 6 fights I wonder?
I'm sure there will be more, allegedly has had anything up to 15 fights on a bill before.
I hope there's more fights than shown on your link.

worst case scenario Khan fight is a two round blowout, Enzo stops some fat rice-puddin', and that leaves 2 decent fights (Cook's and Pryce's) and a bloke I've never heard of (Lebevdev or whatever), and Paul Smith in a ticking over fight I assume as it's TBA.

What's the score with Cook, as I understand it he's fighting for a vacant title (or is it interim?) against a guy called Martinez? again correct me if I'm wrong, who is the favourite and meant to be extremely good.

John Simpson is on this bill too I think (saw it mentioned somewhere.)

But really 7 fights is enough for me, especially as there are several potential long ones. I mean- I don't mind more, but it can tax the patience sometimes sitting for 6 hours!

Is Paul Smith aiming for Mikkel Kessler (WBA champ)?

The reason I ask is because his fight is down as being for the WBA international title, and that's usually a stepping stone to the full title.

I personally think 'less is more'...would rather have six bouts than sixteen.
