Clinton Woods v Roy Jones Jr IBF Eliminator
Clinton Woods v Roy Jones Jr IBF Eliminator
How many eliminators does the poor lad have to go through?!
Is this beneficial to Clinton in any way? Roy's last PPV sold worse than a chocolate tea pot.

Is this even a final eliminator?
I would quite like to see the fight though. It would still be a big win for Woods.

What happened to Tavoris Cloud? Has he given up his IBF mandatory position? His fight with Gonzales was ages ago! Sadly Jones is a winnable fight for Clinton these days, though I can't see Chad Dawson (or I suppose Antonio Tarver if by some miracle he wins the rematch) being interested in facing him even if he wins.

Jones work rate has slipped so far in recent years that Woods has a great chance of winning this one.

Wouldnt that be the cheapest win in the history of british boxing if Clinton pulled it off, considering how the first fight went
I think my head would explode if I saw even a hint of triumphalism or spin about Roy Jones current ability

Woods vs Muriqui was an eliminator for the number #2 position...
Re: Clinton Woods v Roy Jones Jr IBF Eliminator
When is the eliminator for number 15? I look forward to that.

An eliminator for every position in the rankings? That's a scary thought!! In fact better be careful what we write, just in case someone from an alphabet org is reading this and starts getting ideas... just think of all those sanctioning fees... ![[icon_e_biggrin.gif] :D](./images/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif)

I have spoken to Dennis Hobson - as with everything Dennis is discussing all options.
At this stage - I would say the Tavaris Cloud fight is in pole position at the moment - but as with everything in boxing that could change rapidly - Clouds people have been spoken to - its the fight as stated is favourite at this monent in time.

Only if he could throw more than a few punches a round, otherwise he would be on the receiving end of another one-sided beating.diggler wrote:if hopkins and calzaghie fight again it wont be b-hop it will be the executioner. think hed beat calzaghie
