Moore Piccirillio - final predictions? (+ SPOILER)

Post by Wales »

Final predictions for Mooresy this Friday.

I'll go for Moore by TKO 9. Too fast and intense for the Italian.

I'm gonna predict an upset and say Picc outworks Moore and wins by close decision or late stoppage.

Exciting fight - Moorsey cant help but be in them sorts of fights.

I think controversial - the crowd might have to spur Jamie on in this one - this Piccirillo or whatever his name is - is no mug!!!

Jamie to win - but I will be interested who the judges are on this one!!! - they need to be carefully picked by the EBU!!!

I go for Moore. If Piccolo is determined, Moore will grind him down i think.

If Piccolo doesn't want to fight, then it could be ugly.

I'll be really impressed if Moore chops him down efficiently late on.

Getting a train to Wigan at 5ish. The girls are making their own way there (by car). When and where do you land? We can make the trip over together if you do not mind getting to the venue early.
Potato face is picking me up around 5.30-6. I land at 4.30 if you fancy an early cuddle at the airport (and you can find it). Why don't you train to the airport and come with us. Would be cheaper for you.

Moore's had such bad luck with pull outs over the years that I'm just praying Piccirillo shows up! If he does (and he should as its so close to fight time, touch wood!), then I predict Moore to grind out a close but unanimous 12 round decision.

Its Mooresy on points.

8-4 in ronds wirth Pickle Man runing for the Hills like a Biaatch after 6 rounds.

Watch out for Pickle Man looking to get Mooresy thrown out for legal body shots.

I'm going for a Moore stoppage late on, around round 9-10.

The Italians do have a history of excess complaining/trying to get the ref on their side. Maybe I am being unfair to Italians but I've seen both the Branco's do it, Giuseppi Lauri, "Italian lightweight who Jason Cook knocked out and can't be arsed to look up his name" guy complain and in his fight with Wayne Braithwaite, Vincenzo Cantatore appeared to be complaining about getting hit!

Yes and Braithwaite kept punching and he was complaining about it while getting stopped!

I'm not brave enough to predict anything. But Moore seemed pretty confident at the press conference today. I'm uploading a video to http://www.youtube.com/MaloneyPromotions right now. Should be a couple of hours yet (from 11:18pm) before it uploads and gets processed ready to view.

Less of the potato face you southern chutney ferret. Ive got 3 in the car including poncey underpants, more than welcome to grab a lift... leaving the sticks at about 4, so should be at the airport, traffic permitting, at 5:30/6. Then 25 odd miles to robin park, in the bar in time for tea, well liquid tea - job done.

What time are doors opening?
