At Christmas, I was 15 Stone in weight, and flabby as fornicate, was starting to get the physique of Lawrence Llewellywn Bowen, and I thought, "this is taking the piss, at this rate, the only tits I am going to be feeling in the near future, will be my own."

I joined the gym, and went hell for leather for a month, nothing happened at first, but i changed my diet, stopped eating bread and pasta, lots of fresh steamed veg, fish, lean meat, lots of water, and generally really improved my diet. Also cut out alcohol for a month.

I stopped going to the gym after a month, and started cycling to and from work every day, and then suddenly the weight started to fall off me, I went down all the way to 13st, which I hadn't weight since I was about 25 (I'm 33 now).

The strange thing is, even though I don't do any weights now, my muscle tone has improved a lot, and I feel much stronger. I'm not as big as i was last year when I weight trained hard for 8 months, but not that far off it.

Changing my diet drastically seems to have had a profound and lasting effect on my body for the better, and even though I don't get that much exercise I still look fairly trim.

I think I'm going to have give it 3 months of hard yakka and see what happens.

I wish I had room for a punchbag, but I don't simple as.
Bike riding is good, but it sounds like you are fit anyway.

I'm 5'8 and 14 stone, I eat loads of carbs, bread, spuds, pasta,I always feel full up.

I'll try to stick to lean meat, fish, fruit and veg, and limit my carbs to a bowl of porridge in the morning. Basically try and cut down on bread, spuds, and pasta and see how it goes.

Was it hard stopping drinking for a month?
Bloody murder. Thing is though, I've got used to eating a healthy diet, and if I stay in, I find it very easy not to drink. Once I head out the front door however, It's game over, so weekends tend to be a bit intense.

I since found out I was allergic to wheat anyway, and since I stopped eating it, the weight seems to stay pretty much the same.

You need carbs in your diet, but only as much as your exercise demands. If you sit on your ass all day, you don't need that many carbs. I eat a lot of protein at the moment, and no I am not on the atkins diet, as I eat tonnes of fresh veg.
If i'm not in my office on my arse, I'm in the car. A bowl of porridge is enough for me. I eat a couple of Bannana's straight after a workout or run.

Trouble is, I love a glass, or make that half a bottle of wine, in the evenings. I dont drink much beer these days unless out with the boys, which aint often with two kids and a missus.

Thanks for the advice.

I excercise a lot and eat what the heck I like. Works for me. Stamina is good.

Although I never have fry-ups or biscuits. Oh and I drink about 3 litres of water a day.

Nah.
I've heard from a number of sources that Jane had a reputation of being a very tough lady around her local bars and nightclubs and that was before she even learned to box.

I didn't say the division was full of people who are 0-3. I said the leading females records are full of people that are 0-3.

So for example the top females will the majority of time fight people who are more losses then wins. Okay so some of them probably have some wins, 0-3 is probably an exaggeration, but it is still possible if there are 5 top female fighters that everyone else has a record of 0-3 because the top 5 are beating them. That is what I mean, see.

I'd let Cameron Diaz or Kylie beat me like their red-headed step-child.
