on split decision
MIAMI -- Sergi Ganjelashvili won on a split decision over Alex Brenes Friday night at the Mahi Shrine Temple in Miami. It was Ganjelashvili's first match in six months.
The four-round victory over Bernes (6-7-3) was a bit of revenge for Ganjelashvili (4-2) after Bernes defeated Key West boxer Danny Van Staden at Mallory Square in 2007.
