I think that the fight will be even in the early stages, with Taylor possibly having the slight edge to due his speed and technical advantages, but as it goes on the power, relentlessness, and superior stamina of Froch will take over and be enough to steal the bout whether it be by decision or late stoppage. This fight could really go either way though, and that makes it all the more exciting.

Froch is a talented fighter. He wants it badly as well. He fight with hunger. Taylor is good, but he fights like a guy who ... has got used to making millions vs older or smaller men.

Froch is the bigger bloke and this troubles Taylor. Froch will be away from home, he'll get no favours, but if he fights well I can see him getting a fair shake. Super middle needs a star and I'm not certain Taylor is the right man.

ppl think Taylor is just going to outjab him but I think Jermain has to get close to land that jab. He has to get in firing range like Holmes did vs Cooney. Don't think Taylor is comfortable in that situation. Provided Froch doesn't give away too many free shots, (and even if he does) I go for Froch to wear him down in the 2nd half.

Looks like a distance fight either way. Froch needs to defend himself better than he did against Pascal.

I'm going for Taylor by KO. I believe he has the technical ability plus power to stop Froch. But, Froch is winning my respect of late, and the fact that he is eager to take on Taylor in his first defence of his title speaks volumes about his confidence in winning this fight. I'm going 65/35 in favour of Taylor.

taylor will box well until he is caught cleanly then i think he will go on the defensive and lose a clear descision. :box:

If the good version of Taylor turns up I thing his speed and variety will be too much for Froch, I just think he's too open. Should be interesting tho.

Taylor by decision I'm afraid. I'm a big Froch fan, I like that he's gone the old fashioned route and wants to take risks and fight the best, but I feel this is a step too far. Froch is very open and Taylor is a solid boxer, I think Froch will have his moments but Taylor will dominate with the jab to win a clear cut decision.

Would love for Frochy to prove me wrong though! Looking forward to seeing if he can! :D

Very good match up (which is why I'm spending a fortune going to it!) but I think Froch can TKO him in the championship rounds after a VERY tough fight. Taylor has real pedigree and I think we might see Froch on the floor before this is over.

ITV have canned about 15 popular series so far this year... I doubt they have any decent money for a fight of this calibre.

I know Froch would prefer it on ITV, but Ive yet to read it will be.

Fingers crossed they do though, as the last Froch ding-dong brought a few more fans to the sport.
