..as if this forum isn't screwed up enough already, now i find that i can't figure out how to send or reply to personal messages. I sent a couple that got through but I can't figure out how i did. there is no place to type in the recipent.
as a result i've had to leave some unanswered. One pain in the ass (init.b.b) even accuses me of ignoring him.

so - to b.b.---i don't recall either the details about the pryor alphabet boys switch. i do think don king had something to do with it - - but then he had something to do with getting us into iraq.

now..will john shepp or one of the more intelligent moderators tell me how to handle personal messages!!!

Hey Jaclem, someone just added a fight to Ezzard Charles' record. Maybe his pro debut.

wsbuf ....thanks...there are a few differences between ezzard's record on box rec and he ring record book. they are about his very first fights. however melody johnson appears as his first opponent on each. johnson had a brief career - in fact this was his only recorded fight.

i don't know enough about those early ones to clarify any discrepancies.

..okay bollox - i explained this once..but i'll do it again---my email boxing folder was getting too full, so i opened another one.i didn't want to deceive anyone with a brand new name....so i just made it jaclem2. actually if i had picked a different one, my writing is so good that most of you would known it was me. hell---YOU followed me from a different forum and an entirely different name
