But anyone want post their predictions for Camerons fight tomorrow?
I know it's a nothing fight against a guy who's, how should I say it, experienced? Past his best? A never was that's a faded shell of his former self? Take your pick I think.
Personally I've got Shane by KO early, with any luck really early, I'm thinking second round here.

It's Nolan, isn't it? If Nolan's got anything left of his old self (and he was a fairly decent prospect for a time), then he might mess Cameron around for a few rounds, but won't have the power to hold him off indefinitely. Probably a mid-rounds stoppage for Shane.

Cameron KO 4, just another formality for Cameron.

That was a pretty rubbish effort from Shane really, I liked the body rips he was throwing but he needs to stop blocking punches with his face if he wants a chance against Tua
Re: So I know no-one really cares...
I just read a report in Aussie boxing that at a press conference that Tua weighed 130-140KG, he's 5,11 isn't he.
If he's to be competitive with any decent boxer he will need to shed at least 15-20kg wouldn't he?

Re: So I know no-one really cares...
I don't know about the 130-140kg thing, he looks a little overweight but he's definately dropped weight since the fight with Cameron was signed. Also I've heard reports of hi being in different gyms around Auckland training, and he's been seen running with different partners at a few parks up there as well. So sounds like he's putting the effort in to shed some of that weight anywayHounddog wrote:I just read a report in Aussie boxing that at a press conference that Tua weighed 130-140KG, he's 5,11 isn't he.

I just hope for the sake of the fans and i would imagine there are quite a few, Tua turns up fit.Darkshark wrote:I don't know about the 130-140kg thing, he looks a little overweight but he's definately dropped weight since the fight with Cameron was signed. If it's PPV i'll purchase, so long as i can see Tua is fit.
Re: So I know no-one really cares...
I guess we're going to have to wait for the weight in to find out really, I'd like to see Tua under 230 pounds to be honest - with the long lead up to the fight it should be doable, and that would say a lot about how committed he is to one last shot.Hounddog wrote: I just hope for the sake of the fans and i would imagine there are quite a few, Tua turns up fit.

It'll be ppv in Aussie for sure.
Edit: 230 might be a bit optimistic...
