Re: Sky Box Office
taken from the fw website. going by this id imagine the sky coverage will start with nicky cook then enzo and finally khan against mab. there might be a very small chance they start with the hall - pryce fight but i doubt it. sky will propably show some of the rest of the card after this depending on time. although the fact its on sbo there should not be a time limit and hopefully we will get to see most of the undercard. may as well see as much as possible when shelling out extra money for it. hard to know about times. khan fight will propably be around 11 if the two fights before go the distance. if they finish early then the khan start time will propably be brought forward.

Re: Sky Box Office
Well I know in recent times the PPV's in the UK haven't represented particularly good value for money, compared to years ago. I mean for the Hatton vs Mayweather bill, in the countdown shows they were building up fights like Nuumbembe vs Watson and then showed next to nothing of it. So I wouldn't be at all surprise they only show the 3 fights in full.
Re: Sky Box Office
yeah nothing would sursprise you anymore especially as they chopped off the end of skelton v rogan on the repeats.stujones wrote:Well I know in recent times the PPV's in the UK haven't represented particularly good value for money, compared to years ago. and they also left a couple of decent english scraps off the olympian bill because it was only on for 2 hours

Re: Sky Box Office
i'm paying for this one.
i don't mind paying for the big high profile names like barrera.
only reason i didn't pay for the december bill was cos of warren's bill falling apart.

Re: Sky Box Office
Looks a decent card
Youssef Al Hamidi is an intersting boxer, he is a regular fighter often at short notice, but to me on the occassions i have seen him he looks capable of being more than just a journeyman ? Anyone else think similar ?
Also interesting to see Matthew Ellis fighting at Cruiserweight (for an international title, what's that all about ??) he must have shed a fair amount of weight after he faught Enzo, he looks very chubby that night.

Re: Sky Box Office
I presume thats a misprint for "International Cruiserweight Contest" as the International and Intercontinental title fights are 12 rounds, Ellis is only scheduled for 8.Finch wrote: Also interesting to see Matthew Ellis fighting at Cruiserweight (for an international title, what's that all about ??) he must have shed a fair amount of weight after he faught Enzo, he looks very chubby that night.
But seriously, 12 fights scheduled sounds awesome as I'm going. I probably wouldn't have brought this on PPV, but to be fair it is probably the best all round British bill for quite a while.
Its just disappointing with a lot of the shite that sky dollop up (last few weeks havent been too bad, mind) that when a big-ish card comes along, its PPV. Shame.

Dont bank on it - it might be for the vacant FULL title!
