According to Boxing News Nicky Cook's fight is top of the bill, (vacant WBO) followed by Enzo (interim WBO) followed by Khan.

normally the world title fights come last.

would I be right in thinking that this won't be the case in this event, i.e. Khan Barrera will be the main fight? I assume so as that's how it's been billed, why don't the Boxing News put it in the correct order in that case?

Also why are they boxing over the championship distance (I assume it's over 12 rounds) when there's no Championship up for grabs?

This is based on Barrerra still having it.

I'd actually love to see Barrerra clearly competetive, but get beat by a much more mature version of the Khan we've seen so far, but feel that more than likely Barrerra will get to him late on.
I've gone against the grain and for Barrera points. I fancy that Khan will look great for three or four rounds, but that MAB will catch up to him, probably drop him once or twice in a big round, but lack the killer instinct to go in and finish the job, instead boxing away to a close but clear win.

How can it be "vacant" when Cook beat Arthur to win the title?

Interesting poll results, because the trainers and boxers in BM were mainly picking Khan, while on here it's heavily going in Barrera's favour.

Marco is getting on, I'm worried - if he does manage to pole-axe Khan, will he be able to survive the after fight drinks party at Ricky Hatton's??

MAB, even a deteriorated version (he didn't look it in China), still knows way too much for Amir.

I doubt MAB can win the lightweight title, but he can kayo Amir inside 5 rds, IMO.

Barrera to win by KO in the mid rounds. Barrera has the punch of Prescott, and hes a lot, lot better than Gomez or Limond who couldnt finish the job off. MAB looks pretty up for it to me and if it gives him a chance at the title he will be well fired up. Khan has always fought smaller opponents with the exception of Prescott but nobody in MABs class before.

Although I would love to see Khan win, I am sure Barrera will win by early stoppage. Khan has a glass jaw.

Its great to see a fight like this split opinion - I still stick by Khan stopping MAB - don't want to see that happen as MAB is one of my all time boxing hero's - I just see him being too old - and looking at his condition - I honestly do not think he has trained that hard - could be wrong - but I think his mistake is that he thinks Khan will be an easy nights work for him - a while back that would be probably correct but I just think good old father time has caught him up.

Khan - TKO - possibly cut.

Mind you it will be interesting to see how Khan reacts when hit - will his left leg do a dance or will he react well.

Such an intriguing fight and as stated before - a masterstroke in my view from W arren to get this fight on.
