If your primary aim is to earn money then forget it a B class ref will be on no more than £125 for a show (and he could do 4 or 5 fights).
Its a hell of a wait, theres no real set time but you can expect to get you B licence after 4 years of scoring tests and reffing without giving the decision. Its a very thorough process. No messing.
Its a real challenge and you meet lovely people and it doesnt hurt as much ! Good Luck.

Yes I think so. Not all boxers can transfer to training or commentating. If boxing is all they know and they never made it big, I think they should be considered first.

Yep I agree, the best refs have years and years of experience so plenty of boxing experience is a good apprenticeship.
