Roll up folks and win a prize

Post by neil r »

According to a link posted by Real Deal the Vivian Harris v Ricky Hatton bout is on. Now obviously we know that this wont happen. So its competition time.

Who can come closest to the reason Uncle Frank will come up with for this one falling through?

The lucky winner will receive a lifetime of free posting rights on ESB

The money was'nt there. You ( Sky) need to have a word with your boss to put some money in so these fights can happen. There are very big fights for Ricky out there and maybe next year in the spring we are hoping to get Kosta Z, Sharmba M or Vivian H.

Closing interview with Ricky Hatton after his October 2 nd fight " 2005 will be a really big year for me".

Something like that anyway.

Ricky Hatton pulled out after feeling jinxed when he read a negative horoscope in the TV Times the week before and decided it was too chancy.

Tszyu KOs Mitchell in 5 then moves up to welter because according to FW "He's running from Ricky Hatton, its not our fault, we got a good replacement anyway, Meet Antonio Mesquita, for the WBF no 1 position".

"Michael "No Joke" Stewart became available and we all wanted to see that one first"

Well if it's true then i quite agree with Frank on this one...just like we all wanted Smith, Vilches, Rios, Hutchinson etc

sorry.. i forgot to say that (in the time honoured tradition of all blue peter competitions) everyohnes entries were very good and of a very high standard. and the decision to pick a winner was very hard. ideally you all deserve a prize, but as ESB seems to have run into some kind of potato related problem, we can only award one star prize which goes to real deal.

please note.. unfortunately we cannot return any items sent in to the gallery (copyright tony hart)
