Terry Dunstan is INNOCENT? Not!
I have read previous threads with regards to this guy, and am surprised at what some of you are saying.. Fact is, man got convicted for assaulting 2 women, any man that puts a finger on a woman is worthless and should not be given a second chance.
When a dog attacks, you expect the dog to be put down right? and why? cos once a dog has a taste of blood, he will attack again. The same goes for a woman beater! a man cant be stable to even contemplate touching a woman, let alone beaten the crap out of her, oh i mean them!
And i cant believe how gulliable people are by actually believing that he is innocent!! I bet you also think that Tyson was falsely imprisoned, Naz was not involved in a hit and run and Scott Harrison is a saint!!
Oh, please wake up and smell the coffee!!
(These comments are my opinion based on research material publicised and working voluntary with victims of domestic violence)

Re: Terry Dunstan is INNOCENT? Not!
He's done his time and he did a lump of it too
Re: Terry Dunstan is INNOCENT? Not!
Never got charged with the offence Even the Girl under oath said it wasnt Him. His offence was locking the minder in a Broom cupboard, read the case Papers. I thank you.
Re: Terry Dunstan is INNOCENT? Not!
He copped the lot as he wouldn't grass, he never touched the girls
Re: Terry Dunstan is INNOCENT? Not!
What He got charged with was False Imprisonment, dont lock the minder up. Its a No No.If He as I first thought had beaten Girls up, I wouldnt be Training Him. Iwouldnt want to know Him, I thank you.
Re: Terry Dunstan is INNOCENT? Not!
We all know Scott Harrison is a Saint.

Therefore would you not be better off posting on a domestic violence forum ? This is a forum for boxing and to honest, personally I don't like to be sexist, equal rights and all that, you should be able to box any sex(These comments are my opinion based on research material publicised and working voluntary with victims of domestic violence)

Come on, that was abit below the belt.. Why dont you try putting in a motion to the board suggesting that they should allow men and women to box each other in the ring!!! What do u reckon? would it be passed unopposed?

I think you should accept you have been misinformed re: the nature of the crime committed by Terry Dunstan.Big Bad Wolf wrote:Gareth wrote:We all know Scott Harrison is a Saint.

He is not totally 'innocent' and that is why he went to jail, but he is innocent of the charge re:the women as confirmed in earlier posts.
Re: Terry Dunstan is INNOCENT? Not!
You'll not get much past the boards unopposed, though some regions seem to allow naked and cream pie boxing.Big Bad Wolf wrote:Gareth wrote:We all know Scott Harrison is a Saint.

The smilies should have been an indication of a joke.
On a serious note though, I'm sick and tired reading about boxers activities outside of the ring, be the true or false (and in this case the other guys seem to reckon you are incorrect). If you have an issue with a boxer then why not take it up with them via the court system etc, rather than post on a public boxing forum where WUM and trolls (like me) will have a field day.
It was meant as light hearted banter, I dont wish to comment on the case / charges etc as I don't know enough about them.

If they have been sentenced and served their time and are released then yes.
If the goveremnt has charged sentenced and seen time completed then they are supposed to have paid the price for their crimes, in the eyes of the law in this country.
If they decide to return to their jobs, be it sparks or boxers than yes if people wish to support them then they should be free to do so.
If you have "information" from those onvoled then you should have been in court giving that evidence and not posting rumours about it on boxing forums. It you have information that you have openly disclosed then can you be charged with "with holding evidence" ? If thats the case should we on BoxRec be talking to you about this matter ?

Re: Terry Dunstan is INNOCENT? Not!
You should be on stage.. lol... yes, spending time in jail is the punishment for the crimes committed, but dont forget, its always a life sentence as a criminal conviction will never be spent. As for the with holding evidence thing, you made me laugh as you clearly dont know what your talking about!!! AND FOR THE RECORD, I HAVE NOT OR WILL NOT BEAT A WOMAN OR LOCK UP A MAN SCARED TO DEATH, AND DO NOT ASSOCIATE MYSELF WITH SUCH PEOPLE WHO BRING MISERY TO PEOPLES LIVES.Gareth wrote:If they have been sentenced and served their time and are released then yes.

Re: Terry Dunstan is INNOCENT? Not!
If you have information that you are unwilling to part with regarding a criminal investigation you are, with holding information, really simple.
No need for the caps either, I can read lower case writting too.
I'm not going to carry this on any further, you obviouslt have your views / information / ideas / theories etc I don't know anything about the case in question. I made a light hearted joke about the mater as I'm sick of people posting their issues with Pro boxers claiming they know all about it but not having a set of balls to go to the police etc and do anything about it.
I dont know about the case in question but obviously you can't read what the other posters have written regarding his sentence having nothing to do with the woman and what she said in court etc.
If you are looking for an internet warrior debate tonight as you have nothing else to do pick another topic that i might know about and start a new thread, I'll keep you occupied for a few hours.

This is getting silly now, and u have the wrong end of the stick.... what i meant when i said that is cos a mate of mine used to be an usher at the court when the hearing took place and happen to tell me a couple of things!!!Gareth wrote:If you have information that you are unwilling to part with regarding a criminal investigation you are, with holding information, really simple.

Re: Terry Dunstan is INNOCENT? Not!
Then your mate heard what the jury heard and they made a decision on the case. Though he probably broke a signed contact in telling you as jurors are not supposed to talk about the cases etc.
Accept it and get on with things.

Re: Terry Dunstan is INNOCENT? Not!
Only Terry and the people who were involved will know exactly what happened and there will always be two sides to a story. In our society people who are found to have done wrong go to prison and when they are released they have paid their penalty. If the boxing board of control then deem they should be given a boxing license considering all the information available to them then that they will be allowed to box. Its not for us to decide who is allowed to box or cast stones, boxing helps people maintain a structured way of life and has kept many a man on the straight and narrow. I hope Terry continues to box and wish him all the best in the prizefighter.

What do you mean "let it go"??DG. wrote:Let it go, mate.
he (or she) prbably works with battered women........you start threads on "most disliked person" or "most disliked person worldwide".........you give no reasoning or acknowlegment to his thread, just a "let it go mate". Poor response.
Oh and Hamed?? See "Crowd Favourite: Khan or Barrera?" thread for my thoughts on that tosser.

Because I have heard the truth re: the whole thing from people who know.
Hence the 'let it go' - you are making to yourself look a bit silly with your stance.
AND your friend who works at the Courts should not work there if he tells tales or can not keep what goes on in the courts IN THE COURTS'.
ALSO I am not accusing anyone of anything substantial with my Most liked/disliked threads - it is comdey, your thread is not.

Simmer down gents.
Dunstan has done his time, but it wasn`t for beating women.
I agree that domestic violence is a big no no and one of the most cowardly acts around. However to say that "you should never hit a woman" is bullshit. It all depends on the circumstances.
I once saw a horrible sight in a Leeds pub. Some bloke was sat chatting to his missus when a pissed up angry bird appears, smashes a pint glass and sticks the broken glass right into the blokes face (probably some jealous rage). The guys face fell apart. He gets up and lamps the bird in the mush and is then subsequently beaten to a pulp by a bunch of do gooders in the pub.
My point is that any scum prepared to shove a broken glass in someones face deserves more than a smack in the mush and I don`t care whether it is man, woman or beast.

Re: Terry Dunstan is INNOCENT? Not!
not condoning it but there are several very high profile boxers who have been accused of hitting women / domestic violence.
Our much loved Frank Bruno for one, dont hear anyone harping on about that why pick out this isolated case?
