No way in the world Warren would let Khan anywhere near JMM.

JMM would destroy the Bolton upstart - too savy, too tough and too well seasoned.

Not sure about that. I think Frank has paid huge money to Khan, and now hes got to earn it by stepping up and fighting genuine lightweights at the top level. In other words its make or break for Khan, Frank has new stars waiting in the wings.

5 calender years

and still no fight against anyone in the world top 20

i give him credit for fighting barrera though but i wonder if hes been forced into it
That's what I've been thinking lately
Don't think so, it's the chance of a lifetime - he's made if he gets the win, a world title suddenly looms, after disaster 6 months ago. Back from the dead.

If anyone's forced into it, it might be Barrera. Surely he'd want a longer run up before his disasterous warm-up - King doesn't take NO for an answer, when there's cash to be made.

barrera is no1 contender . he is certian of a title shot without fighting khan

so barrera is only taking this fight because he feels he can win and the ££££

im working so im going to listen on teh radio and get a round by round done on here

oh yeah marquez will much more is pacman wins , but making $2m for a few rounds work must be tempting for marquez.

khan is only one of thr lightweights who could generate this money for marquez because of the hype and the silver medal

yeah it can but at the same time would warren want gamble a fight between khan and Marquez. No. unless warren knew his boxer can beat Marquez then ONLY the fight would go ahead. i mean Campbell wanted to fight khan but it did not go ahead.

Personally I doubt they'll be letting Khan anywhere near JMM and will probably bank on him giving the title up in search of a mega payday and leaving Khan and TBA to do battle for the vacant crown. If I was JMM I'd be getting in there and looking to fight Khan for BIG money.

I get the feeling that if you asked Khan, and he answered honestly,he'd admit to not being ready for this fight. We all know boxers can get old overnight, but i don't see MAB that far gone yet.....
Find out soon eh...
