I am in that group too Dioufy - although the closer we get to the fight - the more I am having doubts!!!

I just think Khan has to jump on MAB early - the longer the fight goes on the more chance MAB will have a chance to test Khans chin and thats when you have to worry.

I am the worst tipster in the whole world - I have been telling people that a little flutter on Rounds 3, 4, 5 & 6 will earn a nice amount.

I am exactly the same, but I am still confident Khan will win, if not knock the old guy out.

I can't get the smaller, older, fatter, slower and past-it Gomez giving all them problems to Khan, with head shots and body shots, out of my head. If he give him that many problems, I fear for Khan, but I also believe he would've improved from that.

But I am still going with Khan TKO8.

Very good fight.

Roach says his plan is for khan too run in the minute he expects barrera to attack each round and attack for 2 mins when barrera is 'resting'

Barrera KO6 - Khan abandons gameplan after being badly hurt to the body - fights like a wounded animal but leaves himself exposed and gets taken out. :box:

I've gone for Khan to stop Barrera in rounds 4-9 @ 9/1. Not great odds maybe, but not bad either.

Khan by TKO.

A good 14 pounds weight advantage; about 13 years between them; a fair height and reach disparity; power and leverage advantage to Khan...

Is the ref in Khan's favour? Barrera's too slow to close the distance effectively, and his power - at LW - isn't threatening enough to force major errors. Khan will nervously manoeuvre at range, bundling in behind flurries and leaning on Marco.

Ageing talent doesn't usually compete with a highly fit back-foot fighter. Only mental weakness can lose this for Khan; he doesn't need to expose his chin.

Khan was chasing Limond like Balboa after a chicken. He'll be scared of Barrera, and he's good on the back foot.

Khan on points. Barrera is a legend but there's been an end-of-the-road feel to his last couple of fights. Khan's chin could well make a mockery of my prediction.

Spot-on! If Khan had a chin it'd be a foregone conclusion.

Have to say thought Amir looked good - but he always does offensively - how do people think he was defensively??

Just speaking to my nephews who thought I won some money - had to tell them although the fight was stopped in the 5th round all them people who think they have won money - they havn't - its the ones who put their money on a points decision are the ones who will collect!!!

Hey mate although I have stated all along that I thought Khan would win - I certainly am not a fan of his.

And I completely agree with your last line - Khan will be exposed again - but tonight as I always thought he did well against an old man in boxing terms.

i had money on Macklin k/o win and Khan points
but they havent paid out to me which i didnt think i would anyway

do you reckon it should go to the cards?

i done it with Ladbrokes on line sure they had an option for technical decision / ko and dq
so think they covered themselves , its 50 bucks im willing to chase them for
