Tongia - Clenshaw, 59-58

Post by Marlin »

WTF is the deal with this scorecard!?! In a six round fight how can a professional judge submit a scorecard like that. The other two weren't much better, though I can't remember exactly what they were...

Or did I just hear this one inncorrectly?

3 x 10-10 rounds perhaps? seems very strange though.

That's what it has to be but I don't understand how a judge could see it fit to give three even rounds!?!

It would have to be 2 to Tongia, 1 to Clenshaw and 3 even. If a judge thinks neither fighter had the advantage of the round he would have to give it even.

The one I thought was weird was the John/Juarez fight, where all three judges scored the fight 114-114.

But did you really see three even rounds in the Tongia fight?

I did not see all of the fight. Both our daughters were around that night and there was a bit going on in the house.

Three even rounds is a bit rare. Does anyone know the other scores? I couldn't hear a thing on the night, very bad audio.

I thought Ty won the the first two convincingly, got out-worked in the middle two and edged out the last two. How did youse see it? The fight was at SMW but I doubt Ty will fight that heavy again and will probably campaign at MW.

Hey be nice to the officials    . 3 even rounds is a bit slack though. Surley you could find a winner in them rounds if you tried hard enough.

I think the one of scores on the PPV on Wednesday was much worse though.

Would that be the 96-95 in the Wilson, Solo fight?

Thought Tongia won at least 4 rounds,1 even, and 1 to Chainsaw.
Good performance by Tongia.
