Peterson will chew khan up.

I imagine khan will be manouvered into
a vacant title shot by warren, hope it's
Anthony peterson, khan will get ripped up.
Warren won't take a chance with JMM, OR juan diaz,
casamayor, katsidis etc.

Maybe Peterson should take a chance and fight one of the top lightweights.... after all Peterson does have a fair few more fights under his belt than Khan.

yes all figthers that you have mensioned would ko amir. but warren wont take that risk to let khan fight any of them . i think David Diaz would be an ideal oppnant to fight khan now.

If Khan won a fight vs a strong young contender, I would be really impressed.

yeah so would i and the rest of the boxing fans. the problem i have with khan is that the hype that surrounds him and the whole silver medal. he has not fought anyone in the top LW yet. the only decent figther he has fought is MAB now. even though ithink mab should have won .

The title of this post makes me hungry for a kebab for some reason.

Anyhow I reckon Khan will pick up one of the vacant belts soon enough. As someone said David Diaz would be ideal but the only problem is he is an actual lightweight and most of his early career was at light-welter so that may cause team Khan to reconsider! But joking aside, Diaz isn't that bad of a match-up. Diaz is tough, strong, throws a lot of leather and although not a concussive puncher he not exactly a powder-puff puncher either. But there are much more deserving lightweights out there - Khan should face one of the winners of the Golden-boy lightweight card to earn a title shot. If he won that he would recieve more respect. But I'm guessing he won't.

I'm off to get a kebab. :D

Khan will def pick up one of the vacant belts soon, but he needs to fight a top LW to make me belive his hype. MAB is at the end of his career and even went up a weight to fight Khan, and to me the fight was a NC and should have been stopped in round 2. So Khan proved nothing!

Basically Khan is a money maker for Warren and will continue this route for a long long time to come.

will Warren risk Peterson - if it came to Peterson, that is.

And if it did come to Peterson, surely the usual row about location would lead to Peterson perhaps pulling out leaving Khan to fight someone lesser.
