Can anyone give an idea, as to where the boxers fight money goes? who pays the promoter?, the trainer? spit man?
Is there a typical breakdown of a fighters purse?

Im pretty sure that BBBoC guidelines stipulate that a trainer gets 10% of the boxer's purseteddy007 wrote:I dont think the manager gets 25%, I thought it was more like 15%ERIC GUY wrote:MANAGER 25%

Re: Boxers Purse
On a purse of say £1000 .10% FROM the gross purse before any deductions for the trainer =£100.This would leave £900.
Then any expenses agreed upon between the fighter and manager,eg travel or sparring partners etc lets say this comes to £100 but it could be more or could be less.£800 would remain of which the manger would recieve £200(25%)and the fighter £600.
Whips and house seconds are paid for by the promoter usually between 40-60 quid sometimes if a trainer turns up with just his fighter and doesnt have his own second he may bung the house second 10-20 quid depending on his fighters purse and result of fight.
Win or lose Eric charges top dollar for the video thats why he is driving around in a flash car and has a page 3 bird with him at all times.
