Randy had surgery on his hand last year and reinjured it in sparring. Since he won the US Championships last year, he is automatically given a slot in this year's tournament - and will be there.

Boxmel is it true if you win the US Fiture Championship you automatic can go to the next years US championships ?? I cant find this written anywhere

Yes - the top four, at least, are automatically seeded into the prelim bouts at the Championships.

evan the National Golden Glove winners will not go automaticly.

Only because they (GG) voted not to.

What if someone wins the golden gloves but lost there Regional match? They still can't go?

Tournament of Champions, Golden Gloves of America has decided not to advance their champions to the USA Boxing National Championships. The Golden Gloves champions will therefore not earn an automatic berth into the USA Boxing National Championships.

The National Golden Gloves will be contested May 4-9 in Salt Lake City, Utah and the USA Boxing National Championships will take place June 8-13 in Denver, Colo. Please contact Golden Gloves of America with any questions.
