Ben Crampton loses to Joel Burke

Post by Hounddawg »

Ben Crampton dropped another decision to Joel Burke on friday night.

Crampton drop's to 21-2-2, in his last 4 fights he's lost 2, won 1 and drew 1.

Where does he go from here, because although tough, Burke is not a world beater.

ben,s problem has been being given the run around by the promoters for the last 5 years, he has the potential to beat most around his weight but he lacks regular fights, burke was certainly an off night for ben,he hasthe ability and chin, all he needs are fights, time is slipping away

There are a fair few middle and supermiddle fighters with good records in Australia, surely there is someone on the rise that wants to fight him.

What happened to the Taliepai fight?

Robert Medley, Jamie Pittman and Daniel Geale are good fights for him.

Can't really believe no one wants to fight him, after his last effort he should get a good opponent willing to enter the ring with him.

I was thinking the same, I suppose for a long time in aus boxing he has posed to much of a threat for not enough of a reward type situation.

Strange card that, only three pro fights.

Only winner from the favoured side was former Australian Junior Middle champ Gary Comer, in his first fight after Frank Porto stopped him in the first on October 12, 2007, winning a unamimous decision in a six rounder over Jurland Ceniza.

In the opener, Ryo Hidaka won his third card by KO, stopping first timer Scott Lewis in four.

It means Hidaka has a perfect KO record and still does not have a Boxrec rating. None of his victims had a winning fight.

I hope so, it would be sad for a guy with a good record, to go his entire career without fighting a top 50 opponent.
