Would Khan beat Prescott in a rematch?

Just wondering what people thought as he told the BBC he wants a rematch.

Amir Khan has told the BBC he is keen on a rematch with Breidis Prescott, the Colombian boxer who knocked him out in under a minute last September.

Bolton lightweight Khan, 22, defeated Mexican legend Marco Antonio Barrera in Manchester on Saturday.
"I'm sure Prescott might be on the shortlist because we made a mistake in that fight which we won't make again," Khan told BBC Radio 5 Live.

"Against Prescott we made that little mistake and we had to pay for it.
Khan beat former three-weight world champion Barrera on a fifth-round technical decision after an accidental clash of heads in round one at the MEN Arena.

And afterwards promoter allegedly said Khan could fight for a world title in 2009, although his trainer Freddie Roach said he would prefer his charge to have two or three more fights.

Prescott, 25, brought Khan's run of 18 consecutive pro wins to an end with a brutal 54-second knockout six months ago, but has since fought only once.

Prescott, who is 21 fights undefeated, beat Humberto Toledo of Ecuador by way of disqualification in February.
Despite Khan's comments, it seems highly unlikely that Warren would risk him against Prescott, who has 18 knockouts to his name, any time soon.

I wouldn't give him much chance without a few more fights under his belt. And I'd still bet against him even then, unless he'd gone the distance and beaten an opponent with good power.

Khan doesn't have a great chin, but I think the problem was magnified against Prescott because a) he got caught cold and b) he took a discombobulating shot to the temple that started his downfall. If he boxes as he did against Barrera I would pick him to win a rematch.

Unsurprisingly, the huge anti-Khan contingent will be out on this one.

However, if they met again, Khan would a) know what to expect, b) have worked on a specific plan for months for Prescott, whereas last time he didn't seem to know anything about him, c) knows he has a dodgy chin and will box accordingly

And as for that old, "he had him going with a jab". He hurt him with a hard jab, not the first boxer to be hurt in that way, but he didn't "have him going". It was the left hook that did that.
