Cliffs fit hes been training hard, he wasnt in shape against Solo and still went 8 rounds. Cliffs dangerous dont forget that he had Solo hurt in the 5th and he wont quit as we saw against Solo as well. Hoppa is in with a guy who will not be scared of him, a guy whos had almost 50 professional fights largely against the best heavys in the world. Im not trying to talk Cliff up but this will be a good test for Hoppa.

Solo also got a draw with Wilson...

I say this fight will end early one way or the other.

Cliff Couser cannot fight, don't know why people convince themselves that this will be an even fight.

I still believe Solo carried Couser the extra 7 rounds, silly but true.

With 50 pro fights I think its safe to say he can handle himself in the ring. Yes hes a shot fighter, but ask Monte Barrett and Solo the guy can crack still. And if you think Sol was carrying him listen ot Johnny Lewis in the Corner!

Cliffs a fighter, and i respect him for that he'll fight anyone anywhere anytime as proven in taking this Hopoate fight. Hes not afraid to throw down against the best check his record

Having said that Hoppa SHOULD win, and easily given the circumstances. But Sol was supposed to do just that

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. How to boost your reputation overnight: go to points with a guy who's typically KO'd in 1-3 rounds in decent class.

I did say silly!

Solo had never gone to the judges before, and stated at the end that this was his intentions.

If you had seen the fight, you would probably agree, the fight should have been over in the first, but Solo stopped punching and started pawing at Couser when he was hurt.

So Sol wanted to go 8 rounds carrying a dangerous puncher looking exhausted even being hurt in the 5th. Whilst his trainer Johnny Lewis was clearly yelling for him to get him out of there ASAP.

Couser is not the guy you want to carry for 8 rounds it makes you look bad if your trying to prove you belong with the big boys. You take fights against proven durable opponents who are not dangerous so if you go the rounds no big deal you get a win and some rounds in but if ytou stop the guy you get an extra wrap for stopping a durable guy who normally goes the distance

I dont think Solo carried Him. He tried to KO him early. Then he tired and was almost KOd himself.

It seems the writing was on the wall after the Couser fight and then etched in stone after the Wilson fight...

Yes, yes he did

Yes you do, Couser is that limited, he never learn't how to throw a counter, so when you throw bunch's of punch's he curls up into rock and you can just keep doing that for the entire 8 rounds, just have to pull your power back.

I think we are both on the same page though with solo, he isn't the fighter i thought he was 2 fights ago, not too sure he does belong with the big boys, maybe he might prove me wrong.

Houndog, respect your opinion my man but I dont believe Solo wanted to go 8 rounds with Couser for one second. I have the DVD of the fight and listen to Johnny Lewis is the corner EVERY round screaming at Solo to finish it, i think Solo's fitness or lack of it is what allowed Couser to stay in the game. You dont Carry dangerous punchers and Couser is one, he proved that againt Monte Barrett, yes hes limited but he can bang and had Solo hurt in the 5th...........

Hopoate is Australian, Couser is American.

The winner is the WBO Africa Heavyweight Champion.

Is this getting a bit silly?

Hopfrog in three. Cliff's 8th straight loss, 6 by KO.

Is it time for Cliff to try another job?
