DOES ANYBODY BELIVE THOSE CRAZY AMATEUR RECORDS FROM PROS
DOES ANYBODY BELIVE THOSE CRAZY AMATEUR RECORDS FROM PROS
I find it hard to belive those amateur records when i go to national tournaments i'll ask some of the top amateurs what there records are most them are like 49-10, or 22-5. I think that is reasonable

Most of them are accurate. Consider that if you start boxing at age 8 and compete in both local shows and tournaments, you could very well have a record of 100+ bouts by the time you turn 17. And you can always ask to see a passbook. 8)I find it hard to belive those amateur records when i go to national tournaments i'll ask some of the top amateurs what there records are most them are like 49-10, or 22-5. The PASSBOOK??? LOL No offense but I know kids with 30 fights but their books show 15...I know people who have lost so many books they are on their fifth or sixth... generally when you hear a guy say he is 178-3...he is LYING....unless he is winning every tournament, every local bout, every state and regional, every international bout etc...and that is UNLIKELY at best

Sigh. An ongoing battle that I've been fighting for 22 years. Doesn't make me very "popular," either.Mel...you know that already (as well or better than I do
