Darren Barker; what is happening?!

I'm surprised just how quiet things have suddenly become on the Barker front. It looked like at the end of last year ITV were going to give Barker the big build up and push him to the next level, but since then things just haven't happened. First Hennessy mentioned Kassim Ouma as a potential opponent, but nothing happened. There there was talk of John Duddy on the Froch v Taylor card, but nothing happened. Now Darren McDermott has been mentioned as a potential opponent, but I can't see that happening now Matthew Macklin is British champion and therefore allowing McDermott first shot at the title seeing how he's a fellow midlander and Sports Network fighter.
Maybe the McDermott fight will happen or Barker will appear on the Froch v Taylor show, but it is a concern that Barker seems to have just disappeared from the current scene. Are there problems with Hennessy? Is he injured? Anyone know?

It's extremely frustrating and I would've liked to have seen him in international ten rounders rather than sitting on the shelf for so long. Hopefully he can unify with Macklin, that would be a great fight.

mate Mcdermott - Barker is going to purse bids, to be put on by late-april, my assumption was that the winner fights Macklin....

I wish he would get on with fighting someone instead of yappin about Duddy!
