Boxing funding and Amir Khan?

Hatton is always doing positive things,

Oh really? So foolin around with other women is a positive thing? Drinking Alcohol like a Drunkard and reaching obscene weights because of it is a good thing?

Don't get me wrong, Hatton is a decent guy, but these tirades of his are ridiculous, and something need to be avoided, and Imagine if Khan did that, the Anti-Khan brigade will be rioting on this forum, talking about who he has a weak chin, how he should step up, how he should do this or that etc.

All i'm saying, give the guy a break.

We can arguel all day about opposition. Fact is, even the p4p no. 1's are criticized for not facing this guy or that guy. Some are justified, most of the time it's not.

Fact is, Amir Khan has progressed alot faster than most British Boxers did after 21 bouts. I mean going against Barrera 2 fights after he was KO'd is somehting.

One thing i will give Khan is his his courage and determination. He has a big heart and as you say, taking on Barrera so soon after being ko'd was a big move for him, because prior to the fight, he was'nt too sure how shot Barrera would be and would only find out once the first bell had rung.

I personally criticise him as a fighter and not as a person. I think he is a nice kid and iv'e got time for him, but i don't think that he has a rounded enough style to make the big time.

Now that is something that Khan can't be criticised on, he has heart in abundance, he's been hurt a few times yet come back to win and you just have to look at how badly he was trying to get up from that second knockdown in the Prescott fight to see that, a lesser person would have just thought "eff it" and stayed down.
