Don't count on Tramaine Williams being at the JO'S. He is not doing what he should be doing in the gym. All the talent in the world does not mean success. The boxer should want it more than the coach.

Georgie is doing great!! That kid keeps getting better and better. A couple of days ago Midget was saying to someone how good Georgie is getting. I told him that is what happens when you work hard. Just think. Midget used to work real hard. I am not at all happy with what he is doing, or shoild I say not doing.

It is a shame, it does happens a lot with young "prodigies" they start to believe the hype and forget about what got them to where they are. Brian nip that problem in its a$$. He is too good to rest on what he has done and what he thinks he can do!!!

Tuesday it came to the piont of an ultimatum. Train, work the way a fighter is supposed to, or you have to leave. Wensday he couldn't come to the gym. Thursday said he was playing basketball on Wensday. I said aparently you didn't listen, pointed to the door and he left.
Chad cost me most of the hair on my head. Not gonna loose what little I have left on Midget.

damn he just told me when i went to visit him that he was going to be focused...no matter how much you talk to him...damn waste of talent...well shit i've been working hard...I actually have to work harder because i dont have his ability...it's a crying shame he'd rather be in the streets than in the gym, guess he's just gonna have to see for himself

Sometimes a loss is the only thing that motivates some boxers that can't push themselves. I'm talking about in general, not about anyone in particular. It happens a lot in areas where good boxers don't have a lot of competition to motivate them. I'm glad I'm in DC because there is always good work to motivate (or in some cases humble) even good boxers. :)chop-d wrote:It is a shame, it does happens a lot with young "prodigies" they start to believe the hype and forget about what got them to where they are. I hope TW can get back to work thought. Good luck.
