Beeb shows on kotv

watched channel 4 kotv again this week as well as action from usa it showed Oboh v lowe, krence v kenna and a bit of anthony small these all boxed on a fight academy show televised by the bbc recentley i wonder if channel 4 are palying with the idea of getting involved.
H ave to say really enjoy KOTV.

Lets hope so. With all this fuss surrounding Williams vs Tyson on Sky, maybe Channel Four could show it.

Is channel 4 kotv a separate channel from channel 4?

How do you gain access to it?

C4 have a history of taking on minority sports (and realistically that's what boxing's become) and presenting them in a very slick, proffessional manner (American Footy, cricket, Aussie Rules, athletics, Rally, club motorsport).

It also has a history of dropping them or cutting back on them after one or two seasons (cricket, rally, athletics, club motorsport). If they do get involved, I hope it's more like American Footy, which went on for years, than rally, which was moved about and then abandoned pretty quickly.

not sure cricket is a minority sport mickey?
probably the best supported summer sport of all.
try and ge ta ticket for the first three days of a test 3 months prior its nigh on impossible.

Well, there's a shit load that watch rallying too, but compared to footy, it's a minority sport.

Maybe minority is the wrong word, but they all seem like they're seen by broadcasters as niche markets, whereas things like the footy or F1 or the olympics can compete for viewers as TV programmes in their own right.

True everything compared to footie is a minority sport in this country though. how dull.
Dont get me wrong i like football especially playing, five a side, (played two games at lunch) but its a distant fourth fave behind rugby, cricket and boxing (in no order all the equal).
