thanks alot guys. i thought i was an ok performance, got hit with a few jabs but I was more relaxed for this fight and I think it showed especially in the finish. In that website where they were commenting about me some people made some comments about me being slow which I disagree with. What ae you guys thoughts? Also I will be on the may 2nd show in sunderland which is the british leg of the Hatton vs Pacman fight.

One thing you MUST learn..... Do not listen to half the idiots on Eastside!

I have seen all the fights apart from last nights and slow is not a word I would use...

If you were a Supermiddle then you would be slow, but you are fast for a Heavyweight, imo.

Definitely not slow. I think you still look a bit tense, but that will no doubt ease with more experience (try not to put too much pressure on yourself). The finish was superb. Really hard, accurate shots. Couldn't fault it at all.

I agree. Lanre will learn to relax a bit more in the ring with experience. We must remember he's merely a novice at the moment and will only get better.

Lanre, don't worry about what certain people saying about your speed. You are not slow whatsoever (for a heavyweight), especially when you open up. However, stamina is something you need to work on (and I know you are already doing this).

 Great ko last night Larry,I for one think that you have fast hands for a heavyweight and a great punch.1st time i have seen you boxed and was very impressed with the way you knock him out on the front foot which to me shows that you have a hella of punch,i would not like to see some1 walking on to 1 of your shots when your sitting on your back foot. :o .

What most impressed me was the way you conduct yourself during the intreview :TU:

Yep, and his stamina will improve when he's more relaxed. Win win. :TU:

Larry,

Why not just go by the name WARMACHINE?

It could catch on going by a nice moniker.... Its done wonders for Quniton Jackson ( Rampage).

I would like to see him snap the jab a bit more, have more head movement, faster combos and a tighter defence. I would also like him to improve his stamina by doing more roadwork and cardio, given that he was breathing quiet heavily in his previous fight against Mihai Iftode.

The best thing about him is that he comes across as a genuinely nice guy and isn't big headed, he takes on board everything his trainers says. A great start to his career. Onwards and upwards! :box:
I agree, and I wouldnt want to see him rushed. As you say he comes accross well and wants to learn his trade. Another potentially exciting prospect.

True, steady build up due to the lack of Amateur experience, but hopefully all goes well and its titles and da big cheddar in the future.

Hopefully in 12-18 months he can fight for the British and win it then defend against Fury and spark him!
