As soon as Dunne used pressure and walked Cordoba backwards he won. Great stuff. Excellent fight. Dunne is a World class operator.

Great stuff. A shame the stream was almost unwatchable towards the end but what I did see was top class.

Congrats to Dunne

3 knockdowns in the 11th give Dunne the WBA strap.

Great win for the Dublin man. Cordoba was tough, talented and I thought at the end of the 10th he might pull away from Dunne with his raking body attackes but Dunne sucked it up and brought the title home..

Even Frank Maloney would have to admit that was a fantastic performance from Dunne - he fought like a man possessed!

What a great day for Irish sport :TU:

Cordoba is still down. I hope he is ok and I hope the Irish boxing authorities safety measures closely mirror those of the BBBC..

You have indeed, lets hope Cordoba is okay - what a fight that was.

I've always been impressed with him also - not sure if I thought a world champion but thought he was world class - like Damaen Kelly.

To be fair to you PR I can vouch for that - you have always been a Dunne devotee; even through the dark times.

My broadcast down. Made up for Dunne. I didn't think he had what it takes to get to this level. Fantastic stuff. Once the dust settles - it's a what now scenario.
