Who has it?

And why does Ed Robnson never post?

Ed, tell your people that DG cancelled SKY Sports because of the total WANK that Fwank Warren puts on!

If you live in a Telewest, Virgin area and have the ariel in your house then your cooking with gas.. All you do is buy a Eurovox Box plug it in and there you go.. You can get them on ebay...

It aint illegal to Sell them but it is illegal for you to plug them in and watch :-?

It's the way of the world I'm afraid. Sky Sports has got such a big subscriber base that a big increase or decrease in the quality and/or quantity of their boxing output will not materially affect their bottom line.

When Sky Sports started out they were much like Setanta are now, only with ITV and to a lesser extent, BBC in the role that Sky are in the moment. Like Setanta do now, they employed people who really understand and love boxing (like Gary Norman) rather than reliable, professional but completely corporate types like Dave Clarke. They aggresively bought the rights to lots of boxing, including headliners like Tyson, big US shows like Toney-Jones Jr and plenty of domestic stuff. In short, any boxing fan HAD to have Sky.

Now, any GENERAL sports fan has to have Sky. They put Khan and Hatton on PPV, generating enough revenue to write nice comments in their annual report, keeping the shareholder happy. They also show the odd US scrap that setanta haven't picked up, like Mosley-Mayorga. It smacks of 'spending what is in the budget'. They don't seem to have any real strategy, or worthwhile/genuine interest in the fans view. Setanta, and mainly Bunce, have shown what can be done here. They put Sky to shame.

I just fear for Setanta's business model. We would really, really miss them if they weren't around in their current format.
BTW, I pay for both Sky and Setanta.

Its easy and you dont have to have the basic package,If you have or had NTL/VIRGIN in your house before, you should have a signal still, try and plug the cable lead which comes from the NTL/VRIGIN Box (little white box on the wall) stright into your tv and tune to see if your getting a few channels, once you see that your getting a few free to air channels, you now have a signal.

Buy a Eurovox,or starview 1,2,3 or 4, Dbox2, they all work the same,Plug the cable lead whichs comes from the Ntl box on the wall stright into the new box in which you buy and connect the scart lead from the new box to your tv and boom ,you have all channels that $ky have to offer.

Heres a link to a website whichs shows you what to buy and how to install.
