He is only 22, and in his 22nd. Fighting JMM is ridiculous and pointless.

His next few bouts should probably include Prescott somewhere in there

think murray would be good for the next fight fancy khan to do a number on him but murray is a tough motherfucker. After that get prescott back then think about a world title shot. Its sink or swim time for khan i think he will come through with flying colours but the chin is a grey area. If any of these two beat him cant see him getting to the heights of say hatton calzaghe or haye but am confident he khan.

Mezaache definitely makes the most sense. Katsidis would KO Khan, imo.

Nicky 'I'm not chinny' Cook, or that Mezaache - heaven forbid a SN fighter goes for the Euro title, they seem to be avoiding it these days unless I'm mistaken.

In turn, it takes 2 to make a fight and Marquez doesn't bring anything to make Mayweather interested. Pacquaio and Hatton both will be gunning for FMJ, so who's Marquez going to fight? Khan maybe his biggest money fight and if it appears easy pickings, then why not? It won't cost Warren $4m because I'm not sure Marquez has ever earned over $1m, so £750k of our British pounds could make the fight
Hatton is gunning for Marquez
Fool if he is, cant see him beating Pac. Does Hatton want to be the journeyman of the elite just to add to his fortune.

He thinks he can win. I agree with him.

He's young enough to take his time in terms of stepping up, but if he's set on making each outing a PPV show, then that's not really an option.

He needs a couple more fights before getting back in the ring with Prescott.

It should be Katsidis, if it can be made. That's a decent scalp and imo Khan could look spectacular against someone as crude as Katsidis.

Personally, I'm not in least bit interested in a MAB rematch, cut or no cut, it was clear that Khan was too fast and too sharp for him.

Khan has the ability to rung rings around Katsidis, but boy, that guy is tough, and I believe he can hit. If Khan's defence is anything short of perfect then he's going to get clipped and he's going to get knocked out. It will be AAA, and Khan will stop him.

I wouldn't be surprised to see it for the WBO vacant title as well. I see Marquez relinquishing.

Katsidis is a tough brawler with a good right hand. Not what Khan needs really. Alex Arthur would suit him.

Alex Arthur seems a good choice. Khan should outpoint Arthur with his speed as did Nicky Cook. However it is still a fight with an element of risk. Arthur can score KOs, has only been stopped once, and they dont want Khan losing to another British fighter. Arthur has only lost twice and he is still a very competative fighter. Maybe a fight they will look at and decide against. Whoever Khan fights has to be a decent name for the PPV so they need to choose carefully.

the ring reports that Arum and Warren had a talk of a Khan-Valero match-up this summer (hehehe). Roach doesn't think much of Valero (hehehe).

and heads rolled when Khan's last trainer picked the wrong guy.

Arthur would be more dangerous at Lightweight but offers load of gaps to a fast puncher like Khan.

Be interesting to see it go past the fifth though.

It does - because it has a credible belt, a way of getting past the jibes that he ducked Jono and an opponent who isn't exactly a puncher to recommend it...
