You know nothing about me! I am a boxing fan in general and the main reason I began posting on here was because I saw a lot of thick as f%$k English people were talking out of their asses about Dunne, so I thought I would set them straight on a few things. Show me one post of mine where I am being unrealistic?
All I have done is pointed out the facts, whereas most on here are happy to make ridiculous statements about a boxer when their only knowledge on him is gleened from a 1 min clip on Youtube!
No one here is saying that Dunne will beat all comers but when ignorant pricks like DG and Hagler insult people of a much higher intelligence than themselves, with their "smart comments", I will have something to say about it.
As for unrealistic, some here have Rendall Munroe as a possible world beater when the sum total of his success seems to come down to a few wins over a certain Kiko Martinez, do you see the hypocrisy here?
I didn't mean to offend and was talking more about the usual blow-ins we get on the forum. You seem like a decent individual. However, Kikos demolition job will always hang over dunnes head. Munroe has never been done in 80 seconds. He beat kiko with something to spare both times and whos to say Dunne could do that. He couldn't do it when they fought. I think Munroe is an excellent boxer and better than Dunne but short of elite level. A fight between them would be good but I feel Munroe would outbox and hurt Dunne and take him out like Kiko did. You have to understand that the kiko loss will not be forgotten until dunne reverses it. As it stands, it's pretty clear that his chin is piss poor and I think Munroe would crack it.
Dunne was caught with a shot that would have put anyone down, those top of the head shots really mess with you, Dunne proved he can take a good shot with all the punishment he took against Cordoba (who hits with a lot more power than Munroe), and kept coming back stronger. Piss poor chin? I don't think so.
Dunne's superior skill and evasive movement would make it hard for Munroe to catch him and even if he managed to hit Dunne, I cannot see Munroe doing much damage.
Dunne also showed improved power, stopping Cordoba (who has never been stopped before),with consistent pressure, can you see Munroe standing up to this type of pressure?
Big he may be, but I just think Dunne edges him in every department. I could be wrong in this of course but Kiko Martinez aside, Dunne's record and past performances tells me he would win this fight should it ever come off.
BTW, how many of Dunne's fights have you guys seen? I have seen Munroe live against Trotta, and on TV against Martinez 1 & 2 and Matriosyan, so I can give an opinion based on what I have witnessed over 4 fights.
Who here has seen Dunne's fights against Pickering, Walstad, David Martinez, etc? Or do you guys judge him solely on the loss to Kiko Martinez.
