Roy Jones wants Froch vs Taylor winner.... after Jeff Lacy

According to a 'members only' interview with g.leon - Roy says he wants Lacy next.

Then all being well he will look for a fight with Froch vs Taylor winner.

Personally i think he should turn it in, as a win over a rusty Sheika dont make you superman all of a sudden.

In his prime he would have toyed with most fighters around today, but that was 12 years ago.

It Froch goes from Pascal, to Taylor, to Jones, then he's done very well.

Jones attempt at a comeback will not work if he met froch he would lose

Once upon a time a couple of year ago, Roy was whoring himself for a fight with Froch.

He fought Hanshaw instead i think and then was ringside in Germany for Beyer's comeback fight, sniffing for a fight with him too.

The fact he went 12 with Calzaghe and he fluked that knockdown has made his stock rise far higher than it's actually worth. And now he stops a guy with 10 losses and years of activity and suddenly he's world championship material again? i dont buy it !

The fact is, Calzaghe has gone 12 rounds with about 11 of the last 12 opponents - from Kabary Salem, Ashira to Kessler and Jones. Only Manfredo didnt. So the fact Jones did means nowt.

I think he will get knocked out again if he fights a young gun, especially if he lays on the ropes again.

He fought Prince, Hanshaw and Trinidad, then got outclassed by Calzaghe

Why........Because he is too old and not at the top level anymore

This is the same, a fight against a shot Sheika and an under-achieveing Lacy, to make him look good and then a total flop at the elite level against Taylor or Froch.....

Even in his last fight, Jones spent way too much time on the ropes....as normal

He should retire, but he wont.
