The Craig Petersen-Young Haumona fight was actually for the vacant Australasian title not for the Australian title.

The Australian Boxing Records Book confirms this correction is correct.
Fighters from Australia/NZ etc can fight for Australasian titles.

Further on Petersen. His bout against David Ravu Ravu was also for the vacant Australasian heavyweight title. It is Sydney (not Sidney).
And the bout against Herbie Hide was in Antwerp, Belgium (Anvers is a French variation of the city name).

Also when Petersen fought Thunder the second time it was in Auckland, not in Melbourne.
